I assume you wish you know something about me. I assume this because you clicked on this, the “about me” page.

I’m a twenty-something single woman living in the Columbus area. I’m from a much smaller city in NE Ohio, but Columbus stole my heart about three years ago. To quote Mike, Columbus is a “big city with a small town feel.” It really is. There is so much to do and see, but you always feel like you’re right at home.

I am a college graduate (education) not working in my field, but totally okay with that. My parents are divorced, and most of my family is still living-though not in the Columbus area. I have two younger siblings, whom I love dearly.

I have a black cat named Thomas, who is not yet a year old, and swears he’s never giving up his kitten side. He’s far too intelligent for his own good (and my sanity), but he’s a snugglemuffin and thoroughly entertaining. I also have two leopard geckos, Gemini and Saturn.

I am a Christian (denomination of one) and while private about my faith, I am constantly striving to deepen my connection to God and become the blessed Princess that He has designed me to be. Let’s just say it’s a “work in progress.”

I am a gamer-card games, board games, video/PC games, role-playing games. I love to play euchre and the Game of Life, and I am a Warlords addict. I currently play a Dwarven mage in a D&D game, and a Night Caste Solar in an Exalted: Final Fantasy game. I vastly prefer playing Exalted over D&D. I’ve also played d20 modern, and various campaign settings.

I love to write, and am slowly trudging through what might become a novel (let’s not set our expectations too high). I’m also writing with a few friends in a collaborative sort of novel that is turning out to be much more fun than I had even thought. I read A LOT…mostly fantasy, high, urban and otherwise. Occasionally I branch out when something catches my eye.

I love to hike in the woods and to canoe, and I never get to do as much of those as I’d like. I want to learn to kayak. I love to canoe, but I’d also like the opportunity to just be alone with nature…as I do when I hike. Though I enjoy the company sometimes, generally hiking with other people means I spend more time talking, and less time appreciating what is around me.

I have a multitude of other hobbies, including cooking, various arts and crafts, and watching T.V.

My favorite authors are Melanie Rawn, Holly Lisle, Elaine Cunningham, Jacqueline Carey, Gail Martin and Kelley Armstrong. And I only JUST realized that they’re all women. Huh. Wait, through Peter S. Beagle in there. That group needs a little testosterone to balance it out.

I am an iPod junkie. My favorite artists are Casting Crowns, Barlow Girl, Skillet, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Steven Curtis Chapman, Kenny Rodgers and MercyMe.

Movies & T.V.? All time favorite movie is The Last Unicorn. I watch Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, Smallville, Project Runway, Stargate Atlantis, and recently, HBO’s John Adams.
